The next progression cycle at Triangle CrossFit will run from November 10, 2025, through January 3, 2026, and it’s shaping up to be a perfect blend of aerobic conditioning, strength development, and skill refinement to carry athletes through the holiday season strong and ready for the new year.
The Theme of This Progression
This cycle builds on the endurance and strength base established in the “All the Reps” and “Building the Engine” progressions, moving toward more precise intensity training and mixed-modality conditioning. The focus will be on refining movement quality under fatigue, improving work capacity on machines, and progressing strength in foundational lifts through consistent, measurable patterns.
What You’ll See in Class
You can expect:
- An 8-week Gymnastics cycle
- Handstand and grip focus for our odd weeks
- Core and grip focus for our even weeks
- An 8-week Strength cycle
- Combination of higher-volume hypertrophy-style powerlifts and structured, percentage-based olympic lifts
There will be a mixture of EMOM style and AMRAP style conditioning. These will allow you to train, sweat and have fun while developing these skills. Every gymnastics session will feature 3 levels of progression, ensuring that everyone has a clear path to improvement. The strength sessions will be focused on maintaining intensity, focus, refinement, and power. Accessory days are separated into their own days for focused structural balance.
