1) What is your favorite restaurant?
My favorite restaurant changes but it is currently ‘Sitti’ in downtown Raleigh. It’s Mediterranean, which is my favorite type of food. You should definitely check it out!
2) What is your favorite movement?
My favorite movement is any bench press variation.
3) What do you like to do for fun? Any hobbies?
Other than working out, I like backpacking/hiking, reading, and shooting my bow and gun for fun.
4) What interested you in nutrition?
My interest in nutrition began during my own fitness journey when I sought ways to enhance my performance. I started by self-educating, and later, during my undergraduate studies, I took formal nutrition classes, which deepened my passion for the subject.
5) What got you into CrossFit?
I was first introduced to CrossFit in the Army, where I appreciated its functional benefits for a soldier. Years later, I began following the sport side of CrossFit and decided to give it a try. It provided a new focus for my training after leaving the military, and here we are today.
